The Client:
Parcelnet / Hermes
The Project:
Bespoke exhibition stand for Courier Expo 2008, Excel.
The Brief:
Create an exhibition display that stands out from the crowd.
The Solution:
The whole ethos of Parcelnet / Hermes is the quality service that it delivers it customers. It is the UK’s largest home courier delivery company distributing for such reputable companies as Next Directory, Damart, Readers Digest and Boden. Having created an advertising campaign based on the customer’s feeling of joy when receiving a parcel that they were expecting the exhibition stand followed the same theme. Capturing that smile and going a long way for one of those smiles all tied in with customer expectations and a lot of the images used on the stand were framed like a polaroid picture. A competition island was built in the centre of the stand where entrants had there polaroid picture taken and pinned onto a map of Europe in a position where the prize might be. This served two purposes, it was a bit of fun nut more importantly it allowed for a face to be put together with a name for future marketing.
The striking aspect of this stand was that it was one of a very few to be lifestyle, end user focussed rather than the usual, inward looking, product and company based focus.
