The Brief:

Blank canvass to promote Parcelnet’s services and set them aside from the competition.

The Solution:

This client is the UK’s largest home delivery courier company and, historically, as with most of their competition, ads tended to feature images of lorries, vans and men/women in uniforms delivering parcels. The solution was to focus on the person receiving the parcel and the feeling of euphoria and excitement at receiving a package that they had ordered the day before. Hence the “Smiles” campaign emerged featuring lots of images of happy men, women and children. Given that most of the national advertising for this company is in trade magazines this imagery certainly set them aside from the competition and featured on the covers of some of the leading trade publications.
